4 x Ways To Wear … a camel coloured trench coat

For the busy 40 plus woman this simple guide to 4 clever ways to wear one gorgeous garment makes personal styling so much easier.

To kick off this blog series I am sharing 4 different ways you can wear the must-have Winter garment this season – the camel coloured trench coat. I found this delicious example at Noosa based linen label Costa Vita Purolino. PS – they are having an epic warehouse sale on May 29. Follow my socials for updates and sneak previews.

  1. The first look is my everyday Winter in the Australian climate vibe that can take you from the office, to meetings, to lunch and dinner without any costume changes required. I’ve teamed up the trench with a tunic style ink blue linen dress from Costa Vita Purolino, boots by Sol Sana from Alterior Motif and scarf from Witchery. Necklace by Noosa jewellery designer Adrienne Reid and Face A Face sunglasses from Hammond Optometry.

2. My next look brings home the classic Winter black with a preloved shirt dress I picked up from Lifeline Cooroy. Boots are Sol Sana from Alterior Motif.

3. This look is a nod to Noosa. White linen is synonymous with Coastal style and I love the camel trench on a white or light coloured canvas. So fresh! The dress in this look is the Ella dress from Costa Vita Purolino.

4. Final look is a mood that will always be on trend – the classic stripe t-shirt, denim and trench coat! I don’t like wearing jeans as a curvy gal but I was fine with these Levis 314 Shaping straight leg jeans. I mean I will only wear them if I NEED to like going to a farm or motorcycle riding or photo shoots. Does anyone else else have the same denim jeans battle? I used to wear them all the time as a size 8-10 but now jeans are not my friend. Anyway, shoes are old school Puma and cap by Sunshine Coast accessory designer Nautical Desire.

Happy personal styling babes. I hope that sharing 4 ways to create fab looks for the 40plus posse helps make you feel like a superstar (and takes the pressure off every day dressing). What do you want to see next?
